Evening Programming
Since its inception, the vision of the CCIC was a building that served students during the day and adults/students in the evening. CCIC now offers evening programming throughout the year to include Aviation, Nursing, Pharmacy Technician, Manufacturing, and Woodworking, with additional courses on the horizon. Students do not receive credit or grades for the class.
Buses from Home High Schools
Transportation from home high schools is available. Buses leave from bus lanes at the home high schools at 4:15 pm and return immediately after class dismissal. The buses also take students to evening programming at Endeavor Academy. Make sure you get off on the second stop at CCIC.

Certified Nurse Aide
Course Description: This course will measure the student's learning and understanding of CNA theory/concepts, skills, and ability to apply the essential skills through practical applications. Competency evaluation (skills) is conducted in a simulated lab as well as in a clinical learning environment. The course is designed to guide students through learning and skill modules. This is a state-approved program and student must meet all the course requirements to be eligible for the CNA state exam as well as the minimum hours of direct instruction. Attendance is of the utmost importance. A cumulative passing grade of 70%, a proficient score of 80% or higher on the final NNAAP skills competency, and 80% or higher in the final written exam and completion of 16 hours of a clinical learning experience.
Clinicals: In addition to class, there will be 16 hours of clinicals.
Certification: Colorado State Nurse Aide Certification NNAP® Exam (Written and Skills)
Note - participation in CNA clinicals requires students to provide documentation of active BLS CPR certification; cleared background check, drug screen, and TB screening; Up-to-date immunization records for Chickenpox/Varivax, Tetanus, MMR, Hepatitis B vaccinations. Optional but recommended vaccinations include seasonal influenza and COVID-19.

Spring 2026, February 9 - April 30; Mon - Th, 4:50-7:10 PM with a 20-minute break
Classes will not meet during school breaks and non-contact days.
Who: Age 17+ (including adults). Students do not need to live in the Cherry Creek School District boundaries.
Cost: Payment will be due on the first day of class! Cost: $1,500.00 ($1,300 scholarship available for current High School students) Fee includes: Book/Workbooks, Background check/drug test, CCIC Uniform and Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Additional uniforms can be purchases in class.
Transportation: Busing will be available from the following high schools: Overland, Cherry Creek, Smoky Hill, Eaglecrest, Grandview and Cherokee Trail. Students are responsible for their own transportation for clinicals. If students get picked up, they need to be picked up promptly from class at 7:10 pm each night.

Pharmacy Technician
Course Description: This course combines foundations of pharmacology, pharmaceutical care and knowledge with hands-on applications. Students will explore real-world application of a pharmacy technician working with a licensed pharmacist in a variety of clinical and retail settings. We explore pharmacy history and laws, federal and state regulations and ethics, medical and pharmaceutical terminology, pharmacy calculations and conversions, sterile and non-sterile compounding, and communicative customer service. Students will also examine essential medical topics such as body systems, common diseases and conditions, and medication errors. This course prepares students to sit for the nationally recognized Pharmacy Technician Certification Exams. This preparation includes learning the 200 most common medications.
Certification: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
When: 2025-2026, Year-Long

Uniquely Abled Academy (UAA)
Course Description: The Uniquely Abled Academy (UAA) in partnership with local workforce agencies, is a program designed to train and empower adult individuals with barriers to employment, for high-demand and skilled careers. By combining technical training with soft skills development, UAA equips students with the tools they need to thrive in industries such as CNC machining, robotics, and other manufacturing fields.
Do you demonstrate the following skills?
- Able to focus for long periods of time
- Able to follow through on commitments
- Is mechanically inclined
- Comfortable working alone
- Ability to follows rules
Tentative Timeline:
- August 2025 TBD: Skills Night--potential students will be given a series of tasks in order to see if they are good fits.
- September 2025 (2, 4, 9, an 11 tentative dates): Boot Camp--accepted students will participate in an initial training to determine if the students enjoy the skills/work and are ready to be matched with a company
- Mid-September to December 2025: Students will experience a paid work experience for 10-20 hours a week and go to class at CCIC on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 4:30-7pm.
- January 2026: If students meets/exceeds expectations for the company, the hope is that the students stays with company as a valuable employee.

Woodworking Mini Course
Course Description: Participants will experience working with hand tools and machines to build two custom pieces. This is a great opportunity to create homemade holiday gifts for family and friends.
When: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 5-7 PM, October 23 – December 11, 2025
Who: High school age students and adults. Participants do not need to live in the Cherry Creek School District boundaries.
Cost: $370.00 for all tools, materials and supplies.
Class Size: 12 Participants
Transportation: Buses are available from neighborhood home high schools. If students get picked up, they need to be picked up promptly from class at 7:30 pm each night.
