Uniquely Abled Academy (UAA)

UAA - Uniquely Abled Academy

CCIC's second Uniquely Abled Academy (UAA) program will be in October. Registration for this session is now closed.

This program is for adults who have completed high school and is designed for students with disabilities. Students on the Autism Spectrum (with low-support needs) have done especially well in the program. The program is funded through federal grants and comes with little to no cost to students who qualify. 

Details:

  • The program is designed to run from October 2023 - April 2024 with students attending 4 days a week for4 hours a day, 3:30pm - 7:30pm
  • The total program is approximately 250 hours.
  • The program culminates with students testing for the NIMS Certification. CCIC then connects them with its industry partner network for possible job placement.
