Open House

The Cherry Creek Innovation Campus (CCIC) Winter Open House is on Thursday, January 29 from 5:30-7:30pm! Come explore CCSD’s state-of-the-art facility and learn about our globally-recognized high school program.

Who Should Attend:
Students, families, and all community members interested in learning about and exploring CCIC.

What to Expect:

• Explore the facility:  All current hands-on CCIC learning spaces will be open! The 2.0 expansion is still under construction and will not yet be open. Some highlights to see:
  • Auto & Aviation Bays showcasing cars & planes
  • Pilot simulator lab
  • Construction Bay where students build homes for Habitat for Humanity
  • Health-care simulation spaces
  • High-tech manufacturing and product design labs
  • CCICafe will be open
  • Industry grade kitchens where the CCIC Culinary team will be practicing for upcoming competition
• Meet & Greet: Connect with CCIC teachers and student ambassadors
• CCIC 2.0 Showcase: Meet teachers leading CCIC’s new programs and participate in hands-on learning opportunities
• Counseling & Student Achievement Services: Meet counselors and our team that supports IEPs and 504s. Counselors will be available to answer questions about the 26-27 CCIC Application.
• Concurrent/Dual Enrollment: Learn about college credit opportunities
• Work-Based Learning: Real-world opportunities for high school students
• Future Educator Program: CCSD’s apprenticeship program for students interested in exploring careers in education.

Celebrating its seventh year, the CCIC stands as a premier Career & Technical Education (CTE) center where excellence in education meets innovation in industry. CCIC is for CCSD high school students in grades 10-12. Our curriculum focuses on practical skills and industry certifications across diverse fields such as computer sciences, aviation, and health and wellness. The CCIC bridges the gap between high school education, higher learning, and high-demand careers, to allow students to pursue their Pathway of Purpose.
