About CCIC

A New Approach to College & Career Preparedness & Success
The CCIC is a stand-alone college and career preparedness facility accessible for high school students in the Cherry Creek Schools. With curriculum rooted in real-world skills and trade certifications ranging from the computer sciences to aviation to health sciences, this facility offers students a new kind of bridge to college and viable, successful careers.
The Cherry Creek Innovation Campus is geared toward students who…
- Want to go to college. These students are looking for concurrent enrollment or dual enrollment opportunities to earn credit towards a college degree. These students could also be looking to learn a skill set or trade to help pay for college.
- Want to go right into the workforce or military after high school. These students want to learn a skill set or trade that will make them more competitive for career preparedness.
- Are unsure of what they want to do after high school. These students want to further explore their interests and skill sets to enhance their college and career preparedness.
Participating students continue to earn diplomas from their home high schools. Students attend the CCIC every other day during a morning or afternoon session, with transportation provided to and from each high school.
Under the Career and Technical Education umbrella, the CCIC expands CCSD's commitment to preparing students for the academic and professional demands of the 21st century. The student learning experience mimics state-of-the-art work environments, with a focus on putting learners in an industry based culture and climate.
High schools continue to host a wide range of CTE programs. This new facility enhances current programming, and is home to more advanced and sophisticated educational opportunities for students.
Principal's Message

On behalf of the staff of the Cherry Creek Innovation Campus (CCIC), welcome!
Open now in its sixth year, the CCIC provides transformative educational experiences for high school students in 10th through 12th grades throughout the Cherry Creek School District.
We have recently been shortlisted as one of 250 educational institutions around the world leading in innovative education. We cannot do this work without the support of our community, industry and higher education partners, so thank you!
With full enrollment across all seven pathways, we now plan to expand the CCIC into additional evening/weekend hours as well as hope to grow with additional space on campus allowing for new pathways in:
- Veterinary Medicine
- Welding
- Heating and Air Conditioning (HVAC)
- Film and Motion Design
- Aerospace Engineering
- Advanced Electronics
- Baking and Pastries
- Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT)
- Expanded Auto Mechanics and Manufacturing
Working with industry partners and our local colleges and universities, the CCIC helps students to make the most of high school through direct connections to careers that will serve them well throughout their lives. Career Technical Education (CTE) courses like those we offer at CCIC and throughout CCSD high schools all provide fantastic benefits to students.
All students who successfully complete CTE courses are more likely to:
- Graduate high school on time
- Enroll in college at a rate equal to or greater than their peers who did not take CTE courses
- Be employed
- And earn higher salaries
Here at the CCIC, we are committed to bringing these benefits and more to all our students and to our community. We welcome the support of industry, higher education, our families, and our overall community. Contact us for more information or to partner with us on this critically important work.
