BANQUET POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
All food service is proudly prepared and served by CCIC ProStart culinary students and Hospitality & Tourism students under the supervision of certified instructors.
Food Safety & Service Restrictions
- All food must be consumed on-site during the scheduled service window.
- No outside food or beverages may be brought into CCIC catering spaces.
- Buffet meals are designed to be served within a 2-hour maximum.
- Leftover food remains the property of CCIC and may not be taken off-site.
- Menu items may contain or come into contact with common allergens, including nuts, dairy, wheat, and soy.
Scheduling & Availability
- Events may be scheduled between September and May in alignment with the Cherry Creek School District calendar.
- Catering is available on-site only at the Cherry Creek Innovation Campus.
- *Please note that unexpected district/ building closures might affect availability
Group Size & Guest Guarantees
- We accommodate groups of 10 to 200 guests, depending on the student schedule.
- A final guest count guarantee is due 7 business days prior to your event.
- You will be charged based on the guaranteed number of guests—even if fewer attend.
- We will make every effort to accommodate extra guests beyond the guarantee, but food availability may be limited and subject to substitutions.
Late Changes or Orders
- Menu changes or new orders within 72 hours of the event are subject to availability and may require menu adjustments.
- Additional guests or increases of more than 3% within 48 hours may be subject to a 10–15% surcharge per guest, if accommodated.
- Last-minute decreases in guest count are not refundable within 72 hours of the event.
Dietary & Special Requests
CCIC can accommodate common dietary needs (vegetarian, dairy-free, gluten-sensitive) with advance notice.
Requests for specialty meals (e.g., Kosher, Halal) must be submitted at time of final guarantee and may incur an additional cost.
Pricing & Inclusions
- Buffet pricing includes chafers, fuel, serving platters, utensils, and prep.
- A 15% service fee covers disposables or china, flatware, linens, and light decor.
- An 8% sales tax is applied for all non-CCSD events. Tax-exempt forms must be submitted before service begins.
Payment Policies
- Credit cards preferred. Checks are accepted.
- Checks payable to: Cherry Creek School District, memo: “CCICatering”
- CCSD transfers will be processed per invoice instructions.
