Nominate a CCIC Educator of the Year
f you want to nominate an exceptional educator who represents Cherry Creek’s Future Forward Mission and Vision, please follow the link below to complete the nomination process.
All teachers, special service providers (i.e. counselors, psychologists, social workers, nurses, therapists, etc.), and non-teaching licensed personnel (i.e. instructional coaches, etc.) are eligible to be nominated. The nomination form requires uploading a 75-100 word written nomination as part of the process.
We are excited to honor our outstanding educators and we hope that you will participate in the nomination process. Nomination deadline of January 16th, 2026.
CCIC Students Discuss Fight Like a Bronco Bell on CBS Colorado
CCIC students from the Aerospace Manufacturing and Construction Trades programs visited CBS Colorado to share their role in designing and building the "Fight Like a Bronco" bell.
The bell was unveiled as part of the Fight Like A Bronco reception earlier this season. Owner and Foundation Board Chair Carrie Walton Penner commissioned the bell to honor the symbolic tradition of ringing a bell for a significant milestone during cancer treatment. The bell has traveled to various CommonSpirit Health and Childrens Hospital Colorado locations throughout the state to be rung by patients.

The Colorado School of Mines Formula SAE team visited CCIC, giving students hands-on insight into engineering, innovation, and real-world career pathways.

Work is underway to expand Cherry Creek Innovation Campus, a high school designed to help students learn the skills they'll need for future careers.
