Jim Dosky Named Harbor Freight Tools for Schools Finalist
Congratulations to CCIC's Construction Trades teacher Jim Dosky for being named a finalist for the Harbor Freight Tools for Schools Prize for Teaching Excellence!
A total of $2 million in cash prizes will be awarded in the fall when the field is narrowed down to 25 winners.
The prize recognizes outstanding instruction in the skilled trades in U.S. public high schools and the valuable work of teachers who inspire students to learn a trade that prepares them for life after graduation.

Student Payments Moving to MySchoolBucks
Beginning March 23rd, student fees and purchases have moved to MySchoolBucks, the system already used for meal payments. Families can now manage meals and fees in one place.

TalkingPoints for Attendance
CCIC is now using TalkingPoints as an option to report student absences.
Download the TalkingPoints app, use the web version here, or sign in to your CCSD account and use the TalkingPoints Tile (you may need to add it to your dashboard).
Please send a message to School Admin: CCIC using the TalkingPoints mobile app. Please remember to include the following: Student's Name, date and times of the absence and the reason your student is missing class.

For years, Colorado cafeteria workers have served millions of free breakfasts and lunches under the state's Healthy School Meals for All program.

Joshua Maupin, a graduating senior, used Rubik's cubes to teach 8th grade math at Prairie Middle School. The Cherry Creek Schools Foundation provided the Rubik's cubes.
